Hearing Loss: The Invisible Disability - Is your facility ADA Compliant? 
Almost anyone can easily explain the purpose of a wheelchair ramp, wheelchair signage on doors, or signs translated into Braille. Less known are the effects of the "invisible disabilty", also known as hearing loss. In 2012, legislation went into effect that requires all new construction and renovations to meet enhanced ADA standards for assistive listening sytems. Returns, Damages, Defects:

We make every effort to ensure that our customers receive only the best quality merchandise in proper working order. However, we realize items may occasionally need to be returned. Please review the following steps to insure credit for your return.

Upon receipt of your order:

  • Do not discard any packaging, packing material or inserts. Carefully inspect the items for damages that may have been caused in shipping. Thoroughly test the item for proper operation prior to affixing identification labels or stamps.
  • Do not complete and submit the warranty card until you have determined the equipment is in good working order. Once the warranty card is filed, all exchanges and returns are made only with the manufacturer.
  • Save a copy of your invoice. Proof of purchase is often necessary when making warranty claims with the manufacturer.


Damaged Items:

Should you receive damaged merchandise, notify your Pro SVL Sales Advisor immediately. We will assist you with filing a claim with the carrier and attaining a replacement. Save the shipping carton and all included packing materials just as you received it. Damages must be reported within five (5) days of receipt of merchandise. Pre-Paid advance replacements available upon request.

Defective Items:

Defective items must be reported and returned within thirty (30) days of invoice date. Contact your Pro SVL Sales Advisor for instructions and Return Authorization (RA) number. Returned items must be in original, brand-new condition including all original packaging, manuals, warrantees and accessories. Pre-Paid advance replacements available upon request.


Merchandise not approved for return or exchange; computers and software, blank media, fog machines, liquids, lamps, bulbs, videos, screens, video projectors, ear/headphones and ear cushions, bulk wire, special order and clearance items, discontinued products, and used merchandise. Non-returnable items deemed defective will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the respective manufacturer according to warranty policies.

Shipping Charges:

Pro SVL is not responsible for return freight charges. Exceptions: defective and damaged merchandise.

Re-Stocking Fee:

Items returned in less than new condition may be subject to re-stocking fees. Pro SVL Inc. reserves the right to refuse any return in less than re-sellable condition.
